HEARTGARD (ivermectin) Tablets are labeled for the prevention of heartworm disease. HEARTGARD Tablets are highly effective in preventing heartworm disease, satisfaction guaranteed! Heartworm disease is a serious threat to the health of your dog. To protect your dog from heartworm disease give HEARTGARD (ivermectin) once-a-month year-round or as directed by your veterinarian. HEARTGARD Tablets are available for those rare occasions when beef allergies may be a concern.
HEARTGARD Tablets have a wide margin of safety for all sizes and breeds of dogs. They are approved for use in puppies as young as 6 weeks, small dogs regardless of weight, pregnant or breeding bitches, stud dogs, and Collies.
HEARTGARD Tablets are available for three weight ranges; 0–25lbs (68mcg), 26–50lbs (136mcg), and 51–100lbs (272mcg). For dogs over 100 lbs, use the appropriate combination of these chewables (e.g. for a 145 lb dog, give one (1) chewable from the 26–50 lb package and one (1) chewable from the 51–100 lb package). HEARTGARD Tablets are available in 6-dose dispensing packs.

Important Safety Information
HEARTGARD is well tolerated. All dogs should be tested for heartworm infection before starting a preventive program.
